Apple has just confirmed the schedule for this year’s Worldwide Developers Conference which will take place between June 10-14 at San Francisco’s Moscone West.

As expected, Apple will unveil major new features in iOS and OS X, and will host over 100 technical sessions with its own engineers, according to the announcement.

Philip Schiller, Apple’s senior vice president of Worldwide Marketing, says, “We look forward to gathering at WWDC 2013 with the incredible community of iOS and OS X developers.”

“Our developers have had the most prolific and profitable year ever, and we’re excited to show them the latest advances in software technologies and developer tools to help them create innovative new apps,” Schiller adds.

“We can’t wait to get new versions of iOS and OS X into their hands at WWDC.”

WWDC 2013 will focus on deploying and integrating the latest iOS and OS X technologies, insight into optimal development, and guidance on how to make the most of iOS and OS X third-party apps.

Attendees will get a glimpse of “the latest innovations, features and capabilities of iOS and OS X, and how to enhance an app’s functionality, performance, quality and design,” according to Apple.

The conference will also feature the traditional Apple Design Awards “which recognize iPhone, iPad and Mac apps that demonstrate technical excellence, innovation and outstanding design.”

Apple already has a shiny new banner set up at its Developer site, with the message, “Get an in-depth look at what’s next in iOS and OS X, and learn how to take your apps to the next level.”

“With over 100 sessions, extensive hands–on labs, and engaging events, you’ll connect with Apple engineers and fellow developers for an incredible week of inspiration,” Apple concludes.
