Among the six tracks set to be featured at WWDC 2013, Core OS will discuss high-level frameworks in iOS and OS X across several technical sessions.

The Core OS track will tutor developers on the strong foundations of iOS and OS X.

“Knowing when and how to use the low-level frameworks is critical to your security, performance, connectivity, and power consumption goals,” says the Mac maker.

As an attendee, you will learn how to use the security frameworks in both operating systems “to defend your apps and protect your users’ data.”

High performance networking will be part of another technical session. Application sellers will learn how the Accelerate framework can boost data processing speeds.

Apple will be featuring a session focusing on MFi products – accessories that are specifically designed to work with iDevices.

“And for Mac apps destined for the Mac App Store, make sure to attend the Sandbox and Gatekeeper sessions,” Apple says.

It’s no surprise Apple is putting a bigger emphasis on security this time around. As its platforms continue to rack up market share, cybercriminals are becoming more tempted to target both iOS and OS X.
