Following the recent visit of Real Madrid soccer club in China, WISeKey has announced an exclusive agreement to distribute the club's mobile content in the country, in the coming season.
WISeKey is a Swiss company that focuses on digital information security, authentication and identity management. With multiple regional subsidiaries around the world, the company offers advanced e-security solutions for public sector organizations, enterprises and consumers.
According to the agreement with Real Madrid C.F, one of the best soccer clubs in the world, WISeKey
and Chinese carriers will be distributing and marketing the club's mobile content, covering China and the extended network of Chinese Real Madrid fans.
The deal should be of great success for both parties, as China is a big market for the Real Madrid brand.
The recent announcement somewhat validates WISeKey's new media strategy of deploying famous brands and allowing them to monetize their brand value via the company's ecosystem of users in selected countries with restricted mobile content rights.
