The basic handset can be purchased for only $59 CAD

Canadian carrier WIND Mobile has quietly released a new feature-phone on its prepaid value package, GoWell G328.

Customers who are acquainted with WIND Mobile’s portfolio has most likely never heard of this GoWell brand before.

Even though the operator has a long-term partnership with Chinese handset maker Huawei, it appears that there’s room for another company that makes cheap phones.

However, GoWell G328 comes from Hong Kong and is now available for purchase at WIND Mobile for only $59 CAD on prepaid.

The candybar phone comes with a small 2-inch QCIF LCD display, 128MB of internal memory, microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 8GB), 2-megapixel rear photo snapper and 1,000 mAh Li-Ion battery.

According to WIND Mobile, with the purchase of the phone, customers will also get 6 months of unlimited evening and weekend calling, Unlimited Incoming calls, Bonus $10 activation credit. Check it out here.
