14 DAY TRIAL // People who are hunting for bargains during “Boxing Day” should start planning their shopping spree itinerary as most carriers and major retailers are preparing their amazing deals.
We already reported on Best Buy’s “Boxing Day” sales a few days ago. Today, we have new info regarding WIND Mobile’s deals that seem to match Best Buy’s offers to some extent.
Although the carrier does not offer any smartphone for free, it has some interesting bundle deals that might appeal to its customers.
The folks over at MobileSyrup have just published a WIND Mobile internal document that explains the carrier’s “Boxing Day” offerings.
First of all, WIND Mobile prepares three “lead offers” and a few “door crashers” that will be available beginning December 26 through December 31.
Starting December 26, WIND Mobile customers can purchase the BlackBerry Bold 9900, BlackBerry Torch 9810 or the HTC Amaze 4G for only $99 on WINDtab+. The offer is only available with the following plans: Oh Canada plan, Holiday Miracle plan, or Genius plan.
Another “lead offer” is aimed at customers who do not want to be tied by a long-term contract, as the offer gets $99 off the original price of the BlackBerry Curve 9360. Basically, the smartphone will be available for purchase for only $250.
The third “lead offer” targets customers who need a data plan. WIND Mobile offers the 12-month data plan of 1GB/monthly together with a WINDspeed Mobile Internet Stick E169 for only $99.
The most interesting seems to be the one that discounts RIM’s 32GB BlackBerry PlayBook to only $99 when a BlackBerry smartphone is activated. However, this offer is only available on December 26 in select stores and only 5 units will be available in each location.
In addition, customers who want to take advantage of this offer are required to activate a BlackBerry Bold 9900, Torch 9810 or BlackBerry 9360 with a monthly plan of $25 or higher.
