To view 2013 games, MLB TV Premium subscribers need to update to this latest firmware

WD has released two new firmware versions for two of its media players, which bring the same changes. Specifically speaking, they are the 3.11.10 and 1.15.10 firmware versions for the TV Live Hub media player and the TV Live streaming media player, respectively.

The highlights of these new packages would be that WD’s team added support for JSTV in Monaco and MLB 2013 games. Moreover, they’ve managed to resolve the rebooting issue when typing in Chinese, and the status bar problem that wouldn’t close when starting video.

In addition, the packages fix the subtitles issue that wouldn’t stop displaying even if it is selected as OFF, the “Next” button problem that skipped several tracks, as well as the buffering between Apple MOV video formats and a network-attached storage.

Not only that WD was able to resolve multiple Japanese mistranslations, but also managed to find workarounds so that the Netherlands’ language can be supported by English-only translations.

As for installing these versions, extract the files within the downloadable archive onto a formatted USB drive and connect it to the device – do not create any folder in which to copy them.

Now select Home, settings bar, and select and confirm the firmware upgrade icon and the prompted dialogs, respectively – this will reboot the system and start the update process.

Bear in mind that the only USB connected must be the one that contains the firmware update files, and mustn’t be unplugged while upgrading. Moreover, the media player’s AC adapter must be connected to a power source during the whole update process.
