Western Digital's My Cloud line of network-attached storage devices has just grown by one, with the addition of the My Cloud EX4.

Featuring four drive bays, it is made for “anyone looking for a reliable way to save, share, back up, stream and manage massive amounts of digital data.”

WD specifically mentioned creative professionals and workgroups.

The newcomer is a NAS device with four bays (8 – 16 TB max capacity), Easy-Slide-Drive technology, RAID support (RAID 0, 1, 5, 10), USB 3.0 ports (allows flash drives and such to be added to the network), and 3D Active Balance Plus (improves overall drive performance).

There's WD SmartWare Pro software for PC users included in the bundle, and support for Apple Time Machine too.

Depending on how much storage you want, the price of the WD My Cloud EX4 can go from $379.99 / €379.99 (empty) to $1,149.99 / €1,149.99.
