Baby eagles apparently grow best when fed snakes, so parents comply to demands

Truth be told, should someone ask us to pick a winner between an eagle and a venomous snake, we would probably go for the snake simply because... it is venomous.

However, as this video shows, eagles are pretty gifted predators, capable of making the most of whatever good cards Mother Nature dealt them with and going after animal species some other creatures might shy away from hunting.

One piece of information we found to be quite amazing is that, apparently, eagles don't choose to hunt down venomous sea snakes because they enjoy the thrill of the chase, but because their youngster do a better job in growing when fed such meat.

Needless to say, our planet is home to some very amazing plant and animal species, and biodiversity, together with natural ecosystems, need be protected at all costs.
