VueScan 9.3.18, an easy-to-use replacement for the software that usually comes with scanners and that supports most flatbed scanners, printer/scanners, and film scanners, has been released and is now available for download.

The VueScan project is under constant development, and fixes, changes, and new features are implemented on a regular basis.

Highlights of VueScan 9.3.18:

• The infrared cleaning with two-pass scanners has been improved; • All the output file types are now shown after pressing “Advanced” button; • Support has been added for 84 Plustek scanners.

VueScan provides support for over 1,000 scanners on the Linux system. Not all of them work with all SCSI/USB/Firewire interfaces, but most combinations are known to function.

A complete backlog of modifications, implemented in all the past versions, can be found in the official announcement. Download VueScan 9.3.18 right now from Softpedia.
