VueScan 9.3.15, an easy-to-use replacement for the software that usually comes with scanners and that supports most flatbed scanners, printer/scanners, and film scanners, has been released and is now available for download.
The VueScan project is under constant development, and fixes, changes, and new features are implemented on a regular basis.
According to the changelog, various problems and other issues with some Epson document feeders, some A3 document feeders, and a few HP network scanners have been corrected in this latest version.
VueScan provides support for over 1,000 scanners on the Linux system. Not all of them work with all SCSI/USB/Firewire interfaces, but most combinations are known to work.
A complete backlog of modifications, implemented in all the past versions, can be found in the official announcement. Download VueScan 9.3.15 right now from Softpedia.
