VueScan 9.2.23, an easy-to-use replacement for the software that usually comes with scanners and that supports most flatbed scanners, printer/scanners, and film scanners, has been released and is available for download.

VueScan 9.2.23 is a minor release in the series, as it doesn’t bring any performance improvements for the Linux platform, just small fixes and changes.

According to the developers, a problem with the 1200 dpi scans on Canon MP495 has been corrected, support has been added for duplex scans on Canon MX920, support has been added for Epson Expression 11000XL, and much more.

VueScan provides support for over 1,000 scanners on the Linux system. Not all of them work with all SCSI/USB/Firewire interfaces, but most combinations are known to work.

A complete backlog of modifications, implemented in all the past versions, can be found in the official announcement. Download VueScan 9.2.23 right now from Softpedia.
