VoodooPC and Its Latest 30" LCD

VoodooPC presents a new 30" LCD coming from HP

VoodooPC has recently announced several new features to be found in its PCs. Among them lie some HP products and accessories.
And that's not much a surprise especially since HP now owns the VoodooPC brand. Whenever there's a trend in PC business, it has to be followed
by everyone. It's not necessary but it happens most of the time. And this time it's all about who has the largest LCD. Dell has a 30" one and so does Apple. It comes as a natural consequence that HP should release its own 30" monster.

LP3065 display will be paired first with VoodooPC products rather than HP's own. The reason behind this move is unknown but I have to say that although the sheer size is impressive, the LCD itself looks rather plain, at least when compared with the Omen line coming from VoodooPC. The actual LCD uses a native resolution of 2560x1600 pixel, a contrast ratio of 1000:1 and a brightness of 300 nits. The device also includes a built-in USB hub, three dual-link DVI-D inputs and a movable base that can be used to move the screen in any direction.
Voodoo's entry into the 30" LCD market will cost about $1900. At the same time they will continue to offer Samsung's 46" gaming LCD for about $5500. A more appealing 30" LCD is offered by Apple for 2000$. As for Dell they, may have the best offer at this time: The 3007WFP is currently being sold with a price tag of $1275 through Dell's website.
