Vonage Mobile allows users to make free call to U.S. and Canadian phone numbers for a limited period, up to 3,000 minutes per month.

The application is a cheaper version of Skype, though in some cases, calls may be a bit more expensive than with its main rival.

Fully compatible with Android platform, Vonage Mobile had some audio issues on Samsung devices, which apparently have been fixed in the latest update.

Moreover, the application was also plagued by some Wi-Fi notification problems that have been addressed as well.

Last but not least, the developers have confirmed that some bug and maintenance fixes have been also included in the update, along with call quality improvements.

Vonage Mobile 1.60.0 is now available as a free download via Google Play Store and it should be fully compatible with all devices running Android 2.1 and up. Check it out here.
