Volent have recently announced the introduction of their latest floorstanding loudspeaker, the Paragon VL-4, a unit sworn to mercilessly destroy most of the competition's aspirations. The new Volent Paragon VL-4 is a 4-way unit that has been keenly over-engineered in order to obtain the best performance possible and the most detailed soundstage any audiophile could ever dream about; crafted with a lot of care and carefully chosen materials, some of them completely natural, these new loudspeakers are destined to become a landmark in the industry.

The Volent Paragon VL-4 is a 4-way loudspeaker boasting a massive cabinet made from selected wood panels finished in an elegant lacquer and curved for better eliminating the standing waves.

While residing on adjustable spiked feet for exceptional decoupling, this cabinet is also bass reflex ported by means of dual round-hole

openings in the back, warming up and adding contour to the LF response; the damping inside the cabinet is made with 100% pure lamb wool.

The driver complement sports a mind-blowing performance: from the 20Hz deep bass up to an unbelievable 100kHz upper point, exceeding by far any similar units' specs.

The bass comes from a very serious 12" Nomex Hexcone driver, with Kvelar insertions for extreme dynamics and fast response. The 7" midrange unit has a cone made from Polymer Hardfoam, with the outer layer constructed form Graphite with a Titanium ionized spayed surface for a rich and naturally-sparkling midrange performance.

The super-tweeter in the Volent Paragon VL-4 is a ribbon-driver delivering extreme acoustic performance starting where other tweeters strive to get: it will provide you with a shimmering response up to 100,000Hz, surpassing everything in the industry and being perfectly complemented by the Air Motion Transducer patented driver. The Paragon VL-4 runs in 4 Ohms with 88dB and can blast up to 250W. No pricing yet.
