VoiceSignal, a developer of mobile voice technology solutions, announced partnerships with Enpocket and Third Screen Media to integrate relevant advertisements into the newly announced VSearch voice search service to be offered by VoiceSignal. VSearch will be offered in a manner similar to popular Internet search engines, being accessible for free and supported by advertising. Users will require a mobile data service plan to enable the handset to connect over the data network to the VSearch Servers.

VSearch is the first voice driven mobile search service that allows consumers to find information and mobile content by speaking a search term into the VSearch handset application. Using the familiar directory enquiry format, users can find any local business by stating the location and either the name or category keyword into the phone.

VSearch is activated via a button on the handset and prompts the user to speak the location and name or category of a business. The system sends the processed audio information to the VSearch server via the mobile data network where the user's query is converted into text by the VSearch speech recognition engine. The requested listings along with relevant, interactive advertisements are sent to the device and displayed on the screen. The user can review the information, place a call to the business, and get a map of its location and more.

Future versions of VSearch will deliver consumers a wide range of innovative information services including access to traffic, weather information, movie times, stock quotes, horoscopes and sports scores. The service integrates specially targeted mobile ads, as well as mapping technology, enabling it to be offered free to consumers. VSearch will be embedded into mass-market handsets made by the most important handset manufacturers.
