Being one of the greatest supermodels in the world means that, on your wedding day, you can hire the best of the best photographers to immortalize the moment. Photos of Kate Moss on her wedding day by Mario Testino are in the latest issue of Vogue magazine – and are, as expected, simply stunning.

The magazine also features an interview with Kate, taken shortly after the fairytale-like ceremony that took place in Britain in July this year.

She says she and groom Jamie Hince were very nervous about the big day, making lots of plans in ensure that everything turns out well, but not once did they get cold feet.

The decision to tie the knot, Kate explains, came as the two of them were sitting at home on the couch, watching one episode of “Big Fat Gypsy Weddings,” a reality show that documents gypsy weddings.

“I am so romantic about Gypsies. They’re not allowed to do anything until they get married. So they all get married really young, at sixteen. You can’t believe the dresses. They’re like blinging butterflies times ten; they can’t move down the aisle!” Kate says for Vogue.

“It’s so genius. I was just watching Jamie, so cute, and I was like, these girls, they just spend their whole life waiting for that day – let’s do it!” she adds of how they made the decision to get married too.

In almost no time, things got so precipitated that Moss almost went “mad” with all the preparations, she recalls.

Luckily for her, everything changed when she first saw the dress: designed by good friend John Galliano shortly after he left rehab, it was created to evoke the atmosphere of the 1920s, femininity and grace.

“When I put the dress on, I’m really happy. I forget about everything,” Kate recalls of how she handled the pressure and pre-wedding jitters.

“I wanted it to be kind of dreamy and 1920s, when everything is soft-focus,” Moss explains of the atmosphere she was aiming for with the ceremony. “The Great Gatsby. The code name was GG for a while. That light and that kind of fun decadence. It’s rock-’n’-roll Great Gatsby!” she adds.
