It looks like Vodafone has been receiving a large number of customer complaints regarding their Nokia N76. There is a high chance for them to take this handset out of their offer in the near future, in order to maintain their services at a high quality.

Vodafone has been facing a mass return of the Nokia N76 mobile phone coming from their customers. The clamshell seems to have had several serious quality problems, which led to general dissatisfaction.

Vodafone has not taken an official stand in this matter, which leaves room only for suppositions on the problems that this handset has presented until now. Customers returned many such handsets complaining on the hiss from the audio jack and a lag for the buttons that control music functions. Moreover, the chrome-looking paint started to chip off only a few weeks after its purchase.

It is quite unfortunate to see that most mobile phones with an appealing design many times tend to disappoint when it comes to performances. Nokia N76 has managed to arouse the interest of many people especially due to its attractive design. What makes it so special is the fact that it can be easily customized to match the personality of the user.

As to make this clear, Nokia has also released a limited edition of a hand-crafted version and launched a competition for people to come up with ideas for personalizing it. Although it also manages to pack many smartphone performances, the Finnish company preferred to promote this clamshell rather as a fashionable statement phone than a highly capable one.

Nokia N76 has been available for purchase at Vodafone UK until now for the price of USD 880. The mobile service provider has made no comments on the possibility of removing this device from their line of available handsets.
