Wireless carrier Vodafone UK is making a series of Blackberry smartphones from Canadian mobile phone maker Research In Motion available for its users on a Pay As You Go basis. The handsets have been present for a long time on the company's coming soon page, which took its time before making them available for purchase.

Although on Pay As You Go plans, the BlackBerry devices will still be accompanied by a series of services from the wireless carrier.

“Your BlackBerry smartphone will keep you instantly connected to all the things that matter to you. Whilst on the go you can chat online with BlackBerry Messenger, post Facebook updates, send tweets from Twitter and even swap stories and more by email,” the wireless carrier notes on its website.

Among the handsets that can be purchased with the new offer from Vodafone, we can count the BlackBerry Curve 8520 in Black and Violet, the BlackBerry Curve 9300 in Black and Red, and the BlackBerry Pearl 3G in Black and Pink.

As for price tags, the BlackBerry Curve 8520 will cost £136.17, the BlackBerry Curve 9300 goes for £195.75 (though only the red flavor has a price tag attached to it), while the BlackBerry Pearl 3G was priced at £195.75.

Each of these mobile phones comes with its own set of features, being able to keep users connected at all times with their friends and family over social networking sites, email or instant messaging.

We should also mention that they come with multimedia capabilities, enough storage space to keep any user happy, photo snappers, and more.

“Opt in to the BlackBerry Internet Service. This usually costs £5 and lasts for 30 days but we want you to experience it for free until 30 June 2011. Thereafter, we'll deduct £5 from your credit every 30 days unless you opt out,” the wireless carrier also announced.
