Nokia has already confirmed that its Lumia 710 will hit shelves in the UK on February 1, but the Finnish handset maker has yet to announce the phone’s price tag. One of the first UK-based carriers to unveil plans to add the Nokia Lumia 710 is Vodafone.

According to the folks over at TechRadar, Vodafone UK will carry the Nokia Lumia 710, as well as the recently announced Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus.

Although the operator does not reveal any details on the phones’ exact release dates or pricing options, rumor has it that the Galaxy Ace Plus will be available in the UK in mid-February, while the Lumia 710 is confirmed for February 1.

In addition, the carrier stated that it would add the BlackBerry Bold 9790 to its portfolio as well, in the following weeks. RIM’s latest BlackBerry 7 smartphone is now available for purchase in the UK for £342 (525 USD or 415 EUR) outright, via Clove.

In the same news, Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus is now available for pre-order via Expansys UK for £249.99 (385 USD or 300 EUR).

Samsung Galaxy Ace Plus is yet another Gingerbread budget-friendly smartphone with TouchWiz user interface, which will probably never receive the Ice Cream Sandwich update.

Unlike the standard Galaxy Ace, this one comes with a slightly more powerful 1 GHz processor, but a smaller 1300 mAh Li-Ion battery.

The Galaxy Ace Plus also features a larger 3.65-inch capacitive touchscreen that support 320 x 480 pixels resolution and 16 million colors.

Furthermore, the improved version of the Galaxy Ace packs 3GB internal memory, 512MB of RAM and microSD card slot for memory expansion (up to 32GB).

The rest of the phones’ specs are similar, including HSDPA and Wi-Fi support, as well as 5-megapixel rear camera and built-in GPS receiver.
