Today, UK wireless carrier Vodafone has officially confirmed plans to make the HTC One max smartphone available for purchase on its network, and has announced exclusivity on the device.

The operator also unveiled plans to add the Android 4.3-based phone to its offering with a price tag of £49 ($78 / 58) on a £47 ($75 / €55) per month deal.

The offer includes of Spotify Premium or Sky Sports Mobile TV access, along with 2GB of data each month. Users who sign up for the deal before the end of October will receive an extra 4GB each month.

“Both Spotify and Sky Sports Mobile TV are equally brilliant on the HTC One max,” Graham Wheeler, HTC’s director of Product Commercialisation, said.

“Obviously with Sky Sports you’ll want to stream on a great display, but here you’ve got a 5.9-inch full HD display. It’s super large, allowing you to see the goals as they happen in crystal clear quality.”

HTC One max arrives at the wireless carrier with a large 5.9-inch full HD 1080p display, while being powered by a 1.7GHz quad-core Snapdragon 600 processor.

Furthermore, the mobile phone features 2GB of RAM, 16GB of internal memory, a microSD memory card slot for expansion purposes, and a 3300mAh battery inside.

The smartphone comes with support for 4G LTE networks, as well as with an UltraPixel camera on the back, and a front camera for making video calls. It can also deliver a great entertainment experience, courtesy of BoomSound technology and its large touchscreen.

“One of the things we’ve heard people say is that our BoomSound speakers are actually changing the shape of mobile music,” Graham Wheeler said.

“Gone are the days where you think of a mobile phone speaker as that tinny thing in the corner of a room. You can now get that rich, dynamic music experience, and that’s brilliant for streaming songs from Spotify. We think listening to music on this will blow you away.”

Vodafone also announced that HTC One max would become available for purchase on its network as soon as this week, but it did not provide a specific release date for it.
