Vodafone business customers using their Vodafone UMTS data card abroad can access non-Vodafone networks for a fixed tariff in 78 countries. With an international data subscription a customer now pays a fixed tariff of EUR 7.50 per MB. This offers clear and transparent prices for business customers abroad when using data services such as
e-mail or accessing the internet or their office environment, whether they are using a Vodafone partner network or a non-Vodafone network. With the simplification of tariffs for the non-Vodafone networks, Vodafone puts an end to the complex multitude of roaming data tariffs for its business customers.

Vodafone already offers its customers a fixed tariff of only EUR 2.00 per MB if they are using one of the 18 international Vodafone "Voordeelnetwerken". Up till now, tariffs on non-Vodafone networks differed per operator since Vodafone had different agreements with each network. This resulted in unnecessarily complex tariff plans for data roaming. Now Vodafone customers know exactly where they stand and what costs to expect before leaving abroad.

This step fully fits Vodafone's ambition to offer mobile services abroad at transparent tariffs. Voice tariffs e.g. with Vodafone Passport are a fixed EUR 0.14 per minute for business customers when using the 19 partner networks (plus a call set-up charge of EUR 0.83). And Vodafone has already announced to enter into negotiations to lower voice tariffs for its customers on non-Vodafone networks.
