Along with the Sharp 770SH, another two phones are being launched on Vodafone under the MCLaren Mercedes colors. As for form factor, the Sharp GX29 clamshell looks pretty much the same as the 770SH, while the third phone, SGH-Z720 is a slider phone from the Samsung Ultra Edition. All three new and exclusive special edition phones are being launched to support the official launch of the new Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team in Valencia.

The three handsets feature a chrome silver cover with the 'rocket' red color used by the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team and - apart from the change of look - it will also offer Vodafone live! Services, including special content, such as video or images of the Vodafone McLaren Mercedes racing car, a racing game and custom ringtones.

"These new exclusive special edition consumer handsets offer our customers a unique opportunity to get closer to the new Vodafone McLaren Mercedes team, accessing exclusive pictures and latest news throughout the Formula 1 racing season through Vodafone live!", said Frank H. R?vekamp, Global Chief Marketing Officer Vodafone. "Both Sharp and Samsung have helped us deliver innovative and unique handsets that will help our customers make the most of their time."

The three mobile phones offer different features for different types of users. The lower-end 2G Vodafone McLaren Mercedes GX29 comes with a VGA camera, USB and Bluetooth for connectivity, and other more basic features, while the SGH-Z720M provides 3G capabilities, a 3 megapixel camera with autofocus, music and video player as well as USB and Bluetooth with A2DP support.

Therefore, whether you are a more basic or an advanced user, one of the three phones will provide the features you are looking for, so that you can freely enjoy a McLaren Mercedes special edition phone without compromising on the features.
