Mobile phone carrier Vodafone Germany has officially confirmed on its Facebook page that Nokia’s first Windows Phone 8-based handsets, the Lumia 920 and Lumia 820, will arrive on shelves starting with November 1st.

With Microsoft gearing up for the official launch of Windows Phone 8 on October 29th, handsets running under the OS were already expected to hit shelves starting with early November, and things are now confirmed.

Unfortunately, the wireless carrier did not offer specific info on the price tag these two smartphones would sport when put up for sale, though such info should be announced in the next few weeks.

Mobile phone users in Germany interested in the purchase of one of these Nokia’s Lumia 920 and / or Lumia 820 will be able to grab them both with the signing of a contract agreement with the wireless carrier and unlocked via third-party retailers, WMPoweruser notes.
