The footballer will lose 1 million dollars

After Real Madrid lost 3-0 to Tokyo Verdy, a game during which Beckham had some misunderstandings (curses, some saliva flying around, etc.), the English footballer received another bad news.

Vodafone has decided to stop using his services. David Beckham signed in 2002 a contract through which he became the image of the Vodafon Live!, a service for downloading music and games from Vodafone's site.

According to Mirror, Vodafone has decided to end the contract, causing Beckham to lose 1 million pounds.

Both Vodafone's spokesperson, as well as Beckham's said that the annulment of the contract was agreed on both sides and that the British phone operator has nothing to reproach him with.

Vodafone has not decided yet who will replace Beckham. Although it has been speculated that this "breakup" was caused by Rebecca Loos, who proved her relationship with Beckham using a series of SMSs, it seems that everything has to do with Siemens being one of Real Madrid's sponsors. Because of this, Vodafone feared it will lose exclusivity.

Vodafone is preparing to launch a mobile television service, which will be introduced by the end of year; therefore, Beckham could say he has lost a "valuable" partner.
