Vodafone Australia Testing Windows Phone 8 Update for Nokia Lumia 820

It looks like Nokia Lumia 820 will receive a post-Portico update in Australia. Apparently major carrier Vodafone is currently testing a maintenance update, which will probably be available for download within the next few weeks.

As WMPoweruser points out, PR1.1 maintenance update may only bring a few bug fixes, tweaks and some improvements, though these have yet to be detailed.

No word on exactly when the carrier starts rolling out this maintenance update, but it might take up to a week for Vodafone Australia to test it, maybe less if it’s a minor update.

Vodafone usually updates its software upgrades scheduler on a weekly basis, so we should get more details on the upcoming PR1.1 maintenance update for Nokia Lumia 820 very soon. Stay tuned for more info on this one.
