Samsung Galaxy Note has been available in Australia for quite some time now through various carriers. Optus has already confirmed earlier today it will offer the long-awaiting Ice Cream Sandwich upgrade in the following days.

Vodafone Australia, another carrier that offers the Galaxy Note, has also announced it has now granted approval for the Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich update and is now waiting for Samsung to start the rollout.

I’m pleased to announce that we have now granted approval for the Android 4.0.4 update to the Samsung GALAXY Note (N7000B). Keep an eye on our blog for further information related to roll-out.”

Although there are no details on delivery method, we expect the update to be pushed either OTA (over the air) or via Samsung Kies desktop software. Stay tuned for more info on the subject.
