Vodafone UK has just introduced a basic mobile phone for seniors. Simply dubbed Vodafone 155, the feature phone is the perfect choice for those with limited dexterity, hearing difficulties or impaired vision.

But what makes this handset the right communication tool for senior customers? First of all, Vodoafone 155 has a more than generous keypad, as well as several sliding keys on the sides of the phone to prevent accidental use.

Vodafone also offers a dock in the sales package, so customers can keep it charged all the time. For emergency cases, Vodafone 155 has a dedicated SOS button, which makes a loud noise to alert those nearby.

In addition, as soon as users click and hold the SOS button the phone automatically calls and texts to the number previously assigned. Vodafone 155 is available for only £25 (40 USD or 30 EUR) on PAYG (pay as you go) via Vodafone UK.
