VoIP services will be available for iPhone users too, as Jajah Mobile Web has announced that they will provide this service for Apple's just released phone model. That's great news, as this device needed all the help in order to distract attention from the large number of drawbacks that people have pointed out lately.
It seems only normal for the Apple to try to include as many
evolved
services in their iPhone just to compensate for all the flaws that this handset has presented until now for a large number of potential customers.
"By supporting the iPhone, we hope to expand our Mac Community. We have a strong Apple following already with our Apple Address Book Plugin and a recently available Widget. iPhone users will be able to make a global VoIP call to any phone, landline or mobile, with a single touch", said Roman Scharf, JAJAH co-founder.
There is one thing which might just not fit into this picture. The iPhone is available at
rating plans ranging from USD 60 and up to USD 100. In this pack there is also included a large number of minutes, visual voicemail, SMS text messages and 5000 minutes up to unlimited calls in weekends and at nights.
The USD 60 rate plan includes 450 minutes, while the USD 100 one comes with 1350 minutes. Of course, add to this the unlimited nights and weekends calls and you will have a huge amount of included free talk time. So, how does VoIP fit into the picture?
After having unlimited mobile-to-mobile talk time, VoIP sounds rather useless. Especially because talking from mobile to PC is very unlikely to happen. Someone who owns a PC is most likely to also own a cellular, so why not use this device, since it brings greater mobility and free charges?
In order to start using Jajah on iPhone, all that users must do is to register on their website. There are no monthly fees for this service.
