Chinese mobile phone maker Vivo is expected to make the next-generation Xplay 3S smartphone official on December 12, the latest reports on the matter suggest.

Apparently, the company has already started to send out invitations for the smartphone’s launch event, though it did not provide specific info on what the phone sports inside.

However, previous reports on the matter suggested that Vivo could release the flagship phone with a 2K screen, as well as with a Snapdragon 800 processor and 3GB of RAM.

Moreover, rumor has it that the device would arrive on the market with a camera featuring a F1.8, and that it will also include support for 4G LTE networks, as GizChina reports.

All in all, the new device appears set to prove a great smartphone, though it remains to be seen whether rumors on it will pan out or not.
