When it comes to smartphones that feature ultra-thin bodies, Oppo Finder can be seen as reference, but it appears that it might have a rival to the title, in the form of Vivo X1.

The handset has just emerged online in a series of leaked press photos that show a 6.55mm ultra-thin body, along with a large 4.7-inch touchscreen display that can deliver a 1280 x 720 pixel resolution.

The new device is expected to become available for purchase in China sometime in November, and is said to pack Qi Wireless Charging inside, the same as Nokia’s new Lumia 920 smartphone does.

The handset will arrive on shelves with a 1GHz Mediatek MT6577 Cortex-A9 processor inside, PowerVR SGX540 GPU, an 8-megapixel camera on the back, and the Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich operating system on board.
