The Enterprise Learning Framework is an integer part of the Microsoft Solution Accelerators for Business Desktop Deployment that was implemented following feedback from Microsoft's corporate customers. The tool addresses people in corporate environments and enables the education of the end user in regard to Windows Vista and Office.

The Enterprise Learning Framework aims to raise awareness, minimize disruption, shorten the training curve and increase productivity. All these steps are related to Vista and Office 2007 deployment in corporate ecosystems. The Enterprise Learning Framework helps "employees understand how the new versions of Windows and Office will benefit them and helping to prepare employees before deployment. And identifies a small, manageable number of learning topics to get employees up and running quickly with Windows Vista and the 2007 Office release," revealed Microsoft.

The ELF tool is designed to enable corporations to create a training and communication plan for employees during Vista and Office deplayment.
