The name of the next operating system

Microsoft has just announced the name of the future generation of Windows, and a new lawsuit is seems to be already under way.

As it had been rumored a while ago, Longhorn was just a code name, just as Windows XP had been initially called Whistler.

Friday, Microsoft announced that the next Windows will be known as Windows Vista. The only problem is that the name chosen by the company from Redmond is already owned by an American company based in Seattle, whose name is actually Vista and it's specialized in Internet services.

Currently, the president of Vista, John Wall, is not planning on suing Microsoft, but it remains to be seen whether Microsoft won't be forced to choose another name for the next Windows.

In fact, it seems that Vista is not an wise choice, because VISTA is also the name of an American organization, Volunteers In Service To America and there is also a website that uses that name: VistaPrint.com. In these circumstances, what will Microsoft do?
