Visit New York's Famous Elevated 'High Line' Park in Google Street View

Google has just added a bunch more images to Street View, of famous and beautiful parks around the world. Among them is New York's famous High Line park, which has been converted from a freight lane going through Manhatan which had been abandoned.

Soon enough, nature took over, and wild flowers and grass started growing.
This gave Robert Hammond and Joshua David an idea to convert it into a park rather than have it demolished as was the plan.

You can now tour High Line, which sits 30 feet in the air, over the bustling streets of New York City. The park sits on an elevated freight train spur that spans 1.5 miles and cuts through the western side of Manhattan.

If you've never seen the place, or if you're planing a route, Street View will be a definite help if you want to check out this off-beat park.
