The upcoming Star Wars video game that is being developed by Visceral Games, with support from publisher Electronic Arts, will be co-written by Todd Stashwick, another developer who has previously been associated with the Uncharted series.

The information comes from the official account of lead writer Amy Hennig, who has previously left Naughty Dog in order to move to the Star Wars project, which has not yet been officially detailed by the developers.

Todd Stashwick says that he is a geek who loves both gaming and the franchise created by George Lucas and that he wants to deliver an experience that he would love to play.

Amy Henning has also previously said that she wants to create a title that will appeal to all long-term fans of Star Wars, especially those who have played the video games associated with the series.

The project from Visceral Games is rumored to use an open world structure and sources are claiming that the title will only be offered on the Xbox One from Microsoft and the PlayStation 4 from Sony.

Star Wars video games are also being created by the team at DICE, who is reviving the Battlefront series, and BioWare.

Launch dates are expected to be close to the release of the new movie associated with the franchise.
