Developer Visceral Games, best known for its work on the Dead Space franchise, is hiring new personnel for a new and exciting intellectual property that has not yet been named.

The company is looking for an environmental artist and a technical director, but the two job ads that iGN has spotted are carefully worded to make sure that no information about the actual experience that’s being created can be obtained.

The title will include fire, smoke, explosions, bodies and destruction, which makes it very similar to all the shooters that Electronic Arts has published over the year.

The fact that Visceral mentions a new IP in the job ads probably means that the rumor, started by analyst Michael Pachter, that the studio is working on a new Battlefield title, is unfounded.

More information might be offered when EA next talks to investors about its future projects.

Visceral has also worked on Dante’s Inferno and on Army of Two.
