Oracle announced that VirtualBox, a family of powerful x86 virtualization products for enterprises and end users, has just reached version 4.1.8.

Oracle implemented a lot of changes, and VirtualBox 4.1.8 is the proof that they are working hard to improve it. Here are some of the features of VirtualBox 4.1.8:

· A wrong return code after startvm has been fixed;
· OS/2 boot hang when using recent USB drivers has been repaired;
· The maximum number of parallel connections making connections with port forwarding has been increased;
· A problem with invalid access in guest metrics collection upon VM destruction has been fixed;
· A crash produced under rare circumstances related to VboxSVC was repaired;
· Fullscreen mode issues for ATI graphics was fixed;
· Fixes for Linux kernel 2.6.41 and Linux kernel 3.2 on Fedora OSes.
