Oracle announced on June 20th that its VirtualBox virtualization product for enterprises and end users has just reached version 4.1.18.

VirtualBox 4.1.18 comes with compilation fixes for Linux kernel 3.5 RC1. Another important fix, this time for the Solaris platforms, is an installer fix for XOrg Server 1.11 and 1.12.

Among other important fixes and improvements included in VirtualBox 4.1.18, we can mention a fix for host freezes with 64-bit guests on 32-bit Linux hosts, a workaround for rdesktop clients not properly updating the screen size when minimized, and a fix a for a rare bug that could have caused a guest memory corruption after the guest storage controler has been reset.

More details about the Oracle VirtualBox 4.1.18 release can be found in the official announcement.
