As every week goes, Nintendo delivers nothing but hot stuff through their Virtual Console service for the Wii. Heck, they even make games available for download on holidays. Anyway, this week the company has rolled out not three (as usual), but four classic titles from the '90s. Here they are below.

1 - 'Streets of Rage 2' is a 1993 SEGA original title, the
sequel to the iconic Streets of Rage and one of the best side-scrolling beat 'em up titles of all time. Boasting an excellent soundtrack and all the much loved features of the first Streets of Rage, old-school gamers will be able to get it for 800 Wii Points.

2 -' ToeJam and Earl in Panic on Funkotron' from SEGA, also a sequel to a SEGA title with the same name. In the first installment of this side-scrolling platform adventure game, the two aliens must rescue planet Funkotron from an invasion of cheeky earthlings. The only way they can do this is by catching them in jars and posting them back to Earth at the end of each level! 800 Wii Points are required for gamers to cross the galaxy and get to Funkotron.

3 - Kid Chameleon is also a SEGA action platformer which originally launched on SEGA MEGA DRIVE in 1992. As Kid, players must play through up to 100 levels to rescue missing kids from an evil video game boss called Heady Metal. On the way, players will find magical masks which transform them into nine super-powered characters. The game is available now for 800 Wii Points.

4 - 'World Sports Competition' is a 1992 Turbografx original, with an Olympic theme featuring heats in archery, rowing and shooting as well as track events. Button skills will be stretched to the limit! Given that World Sports Competition is now available on Nintendo's Virtual Console for 600 Wii points and that it features multiplayer support for up to five players, I can't see why you wouldn't go and download it right away.

There are currently 92 classic titles already available up on Nintendo's service, so by all means, do check all of them out, you never know if you've missed the announcement of your favorite hitting VC. Check with the related links below, you may find something interesting there.
