Virtua Tennis 3 (Power Smash 3 in Japan) is the second arcade sequel to Sega's tennis game franchise. The arcade version of Virtua Tennis 3 is powered by

the PC-based Sega Lindbergh arcade system board. Ports for the PC, Xbox 360, PlayStation Portable and PlayStation 3 consoles are also available, with a traditional collection of tennis mini-games that the home versions of Virtua Tennis on the Dreamcast, PlayStation 2, Game Boy Advance and PlayStation Portable are known for. Like previous console ports of the series, lob is now a separate button in the conversions, as opposed to pressing both topspin and slicespin as in the Lindbergh arcade version. Besides having Tournament Mode and Exhibition Mode from the arcade version, the home version will have two new game modes in the World Tour Mode and Party Mode. These new game modes replace the Challenge Mode that was present in the arcade version.

Unlockables

Normal Class
In the Tennis Academy in world tour, if you get 10 medals they will promote you from Beginner Class to Normal Class. You will be informed by the SPT Administration through a mail.

Normal Class - Get 10 medals in Beginner Class

Play against King
Beat tournament mode at least once. Then, start tournament mode again and earn at least $7,000,000. Then you should face King in stage 6.

Frying Pan Racket - Get a Turkey in the Pin Crusher Challenge

New Shoes - Turn pro and run 5km in world tour.

Racket - Get 10 medals in Beginner Class

Wristband - Win a tournament in world tour.

This has got to be the best tennis game for the PSP so far and if you check out the gameplay footage below, I think you'll agree:
