Virtua Fighter 5 Unlockables (PS3)

Virtua Fighter 5 will deliver fast-paced, adrenaline-pumping action as players head into battle, taking on a host of popular characters. Play as one of the 17 default characters in the game or customize a character in the quest mode. Players will be able to modify their characters by selecting from four base costumes and then decorate them by attaching a wide range of unlockable and earnable items.

Players will not only achieve victory by defeating highly-skilled opponents, but also by competing for prizes and earning in-game money allowing them to buy many items at an in-game shop. Further building upon the depth of the series, players will now be able to move around their opponent using an "Offensive Move" technique, adding a new strategic element to their battles.

UNLOCKABLES

Movie Theater custom characters

Enter the VFTV Movie Theater, then hold Left and press X when choosing the Wolf-El Blaze or Eileen demo movies. Any customizations you made to those characters will now appear in the movie.

Demo mode

Select "VF.TV", then "Exhibition Match". Hold L1 + R1 and press X at the character selection screen. A sound will confirm correct code entry. The game will play random matches by itself.

Classic SEGA sound

Hold Circle while loads to hear the classic "SEGA" sound from the Genesis system when the Sega logo appears.

Fight as Dural

Successfully complete Arcade mode with each character to unlock Dural in Versus and Arcade modes. Note: Continues can be used and you do not have to defeat Dural at the end. To select Dural as your character, highlight any fighter on the bottom row of the selection screen and press Down.

Dojo training stages

Successfully complete Time Attack mode in Command Training. Then, select Versus mode, choose the fighters, then press Down(2) for the fenced Dojo stage or Up(2) for the fence-less Dojo stage.

Costume C

Achieve the rank of First Dan in Quest mode.

Costume D

Complete the first Orb Disc.

Arcade mode Route B

Hold Guard or Punch at the "Yes or No" prompt at the character selection screen in Arcade mode. Keep the button held until the match begins. This mode has a different order of the fighters that appear.

SEGA balloon item battles

Win the "Virtua Fighter World Tournament Finals" in Quest mode. A SEGA balloon will randomly appear on the Quest mode map screen. When this happens, fight in any arena. The next ten battles will be item battles because of the balloon.
