US-based carrier Virgin Mobile silently released a new data plan for customers who do not wish to commit to monthly plans.

The new $5 daily data plan is now available to all customers who think about getting a monthly Virgin Mobile plan for $35 or $55 would be too much for them.

It is also worth mentioning that the newly introduced daily plan offers users 200MB of 3G data or unlimited 4G service, where available.

The folks over at AndroidGuys report that starting November 5, Virgin Mobile USA customers will be able to choose from the following plans:

- $35/month 2GB of 3G service/Unlimited 4G service;
- $55/month 5GB of 3G service/Unlimited 4G service;
- $5/day 200MB of 3G service/Unlimited 4G service.

Keep in mind that for the time being Virgin Mobile USA’s 3G/4G Broadband2Go service is only available on U600 3G/4G USB Stick and Overdrive Pro 3G/4G Mobile Hotspot.
