Virgin Mobile USA has announced today that it plans to introduce new contract plans for its mobile phone users starting with Wednesday, June 10. According to the company, it will launch three new plans that are aimed mainly at families, offering them the possibility to stay connected more while on the go.

The three new contract plans include a $175/month All-In plan that features 4000 shared anytime minutes, as well as unlimited messaging and data services, a $50 A La Carte plan that sports 600 shared anytime minutes and unlimited mobile-to-mobile minutes, as well as an addition of 200 shared anytime minutes that will come with the current $100/month A La Carte plan, enabling users to talk more while paying the same amount of money.

According to the carrier, its suite of contract family plans also includes unlimited 7 pm night and weekend minutes, along with unlimited mobile-to-mobile calling to all Virgin Mobile USA contract and no-annual-contract customers, high-speed 3G mobile Web access, with no domestic roaming or long-distance charges being applied.

Virgin Mobile USA understands that when it comes to cell phone plans, one-size-fits-all doesn't apply,” said Bob Stohrer, chief marketing officer, Virgin Mobile USA. “Just like our popular no-annual-contract plans, these family contract plans give customers ultimate flexibility so they get great value out of every minute and stay connected without compromising quality.”

The All-In family plans from Virgin Mobile USA come with unlimited text messaging and unlimited data, while the A La Carte family plans feature the flexibility of add-on text packs, including 300 text messages for $4.99/month, or unlimited text messaging for $9.99/month. The family plans also come with data services that offer access to Facebook, YouTube Mobile, MySpace, Flickr, MyPix or GPS-enabled Google Maps.
