Virgin Mobile is about to make an interesting deal to its customers for Valentine's Day. While other US-based carriers plan to increase the cost of some of their services Virgin Mobile plans to offer more for cheaper tariffs.

The folks over at MobileSyrup have just learned that Virgin Mobile will launch new Prepaid plans on February 14. A Virgin Mobile internal document has just leaked online and confirms that the carrier will drop the current price of their Prepaid by roughly $5.

In addition to the new prices, Virgin Mobile's new plans will offer much more than they previously did. The basic features have been kept the same, so expect these ones to come with Voicemail, Call Forwarding, Call Display, Text and 3-Way Calling.

The cheapest $25 per month Prepaid plan offers Virgin Mobile customers 100 Anytime Minutes, Unlimited Canada & U.S. texting, and only 100 MB of mobile data. All extra minutes are charged 30¢/min. This prepaid plan is not available on Research In Motion's BlackBerry smartphones.

Virgin Mobile's $35/month plan is aimed at customers who own a smartphone. Simply dubbed Smartphone plan, it offers customers Unlimited Incoming Calls, Unlimited Weekends & Evenings (7pm-7am), Unlimited Canada & U.S. Text and 250 MB of mobile data. Just like the previous plan, all extra minutes are charged 30¢/min.

The next two Prepaid plans offered by Virgin Mobile are targeting BlackBerry users. Both will be available for $35/month, but one is aimed at social network addicts, while the other one is the perfect choice for standard BlackBerry users.

The so-called Blackberry Plan (Social) offers customers Unlimited Incoming Calls, Unlimited Weekends & Evenings (7pm-7am), Unlimited Canada & U.S. Text, as well as Unlimited Facebook, Twitter and BBM.

The second $35/month BlackBerry plan offers Unlimited Incoming Calls, Unlimited Weekends & Evenings (7pm-7am), Unlimited Canada & U.S. Text, and Unlimited Email and BBM. Both plans are available only for BlackBerry smartphones.
