14 DAY TRIAL // Powerful tornadoes have claimed many lives over the weekend in Kentucky, Alabama, Ohio and Indiana. One woman and her family were lucky enough to escape one – by the power of prayer alone.
CNN got their hands on the video below, showing a woman praying the tornado away from her home.
The tornado was formed on a hill right next to her house and, faced with the only option of running away, she decided to stay and put all her faith in God.
“Take this away from us, mercy lord, take it away from us lord,” she can be heard saying, as she's raising her hands in prayer to the sky.
“Oh God, that's pretty big,” another woman is heard saying.
“Take it lord! Take it Lord! Take it away from us Jesus!” the other continues to pray.
The video ends with footage of the tornado moving away. Reports online say that, indeed, the woman and her family escaped unscathed from the ordeal.
