The guy just got shut down (big time) as the entire audience was watching. In his defense, he did make quite a touching speech.
“I knew that I was going to do this since the first day that I met you, and I figured now was as good a time as any,” he says, as she looks on, still in disbelief.
At one point, she seems to be mouthing “are you joking?” or something to that effect. When it dawns on her he's dead serious, she just gets up and walks away, leaving the poor guy nearly on the verge of tears.
The booing at the end of the video will tell you what the other fans thought of the woman's selfish and very rude reaction.
