Australian rapper Iggy Azalea has more haters than she has fans, and a Vine that’s picking up traction online right now will certainly not win her more of the latter. It’s gone viral, and it’s just as funny as it’s confusing.

You can find it embedded below.

So here’s the thing about Iggy Azalea, or Amethyst Amelia Kelly by her birth name: she was born into a middle-class family from Australia, tried to launch a pop career as an entertainer in the vein of Britney Spears (and failed), and eventually signed with T.I.'s record label, which helped her break on the US market as a rapper.

When she raps, she does it under an assumed voice and accent, and she tackles certain topics that, many believe, are exclusive to American hip hop / black rappers. She is often accused of cultural appropriation, an allegation she tried to fend off by claiming that she was only attacked because she was a woman.

In reality, she was attacked because she was a perceived fraud, and not a necessarily good rapper either. The Vine below is all about that last part, causing genuine hysteria online, with celebrity bloggers and casual commenters joking about how Iggy just throws words out there when she thinks no one’s listening, hoping no one will notice that she’s not exactly rapping.

BuzzFeed conducted a poll trying to determine what she could be saying. As of the time of writing, 66% of participants cast their vote for “Pi*sedonpointforthepointpassmeajointgotatoothlessbeesimasprainmyjointSTRAIGHT CRACKROCKwannadothePOPPOWjunorunthecity.” Whatever that means.

About 19% percent believe she’s not even speaking in English, just making sounds to appear as if she is. What do you think?
