A “Carrie” remake, with Chloe Moretz and Julianne Moore, will be out in theaters as of October 18, and the movie studio is promoting it with a very awesome and quite spooky viral video.

You can see it in full above.

It’s actually a coffee shop prank where everyone in the coffee shop minus the customers at the register are in on the joke, which makes it look as if a girl gets so upset that a guy spills coffee on her laptop that she lets her telekinetic powers take over to cause chaos in the establishment.

She slams the guy to the wall, makes the tables move, and brings books and paintings crashing down from the walls, as the customers watch in horror – those who are brave enough not to run away, that is.

It’s only at the end of the video that fans learn that it’s actually a viral for “Carrie” because, you know, she too had telekinetic powers.

Enjoy!
