Viral of the Day: “Taken” with a Real Dad

Sure, it pays to have Liam Neeson for a dad, especially if he's a retired secret agent and thus has the skill and weaponry to take down an entire gang of human flesh traffickers. But what would happen in a similar real-life scenario?

The video above tries to tackle precisely that. It's obviously inspired by the 2008 film with Liam Neeson, which, by the way, is getting a sequel this year.

“Taken” with a Real Dad, the spoof, replaces Neeson for an overweight middle-aged guy who never really makes it all the way to Paris to save his son from the hands of the bad guys.

It's easy to believe that Neeson could actually do all those things he does in the movie, just as it's easy to believe this guy wouldn't even make it 2 miles from his home.

Indeed, jokes about parents and technology never get old.
