Hozier rocked the stage last weekend at the Grammys Awards 2015 with Annie Lennox, their performance being billed the best of the night. Fresh off hype from this, here’s a new way to experience his chart-topping single “Take Me to Church,” courtesy of David LaChapelle and the “bad boy” of ballet.

His name is Sergei Polunin and he is a Ukrainian-born ballet dancer currently with the Stanislavsky Music Theatre in Moscow, and the Novosibirsk State Academic Opera and Ballet Theatre. He started at the Kyiv State Choreographic Institute and joined the British Royal Ballet School when he was 13.

He is incredibly talented and also incredibly handsome and infamously difficult to work with. They call him the “bad boy” of ballet not just because of the extensive collection of tattoos on his body, which can be admired in the video below, but also because of his attitude and relentlessness.

The video was released a couple of days ago and it’s already getting plenty of hits, sitting at over 1.8 million views on YouTube so far. It’s a visual representation by Polunin of the Hozier hit and it’s truly beautiful to watch.

Polunin has also had several successful modeling gigs, particularly with Marc Jacobs, and he’s appeared in music videos before. I believe I’m not mistaken in saying that this one is the most beautiful: he may be a “bad boy,” but he’s an artist you can’t but love watching.
