Controversial televangelist says “it’s not for you to decide or judge”

Pat Robertson never shied away from speaking his mind on everything, even if that meant angering the world by saying that the Haiti disaster was “God’s work” but, mysteriously, he’s refusing to take a stand on the question of transgender people.

It happened during a recent televised Q&A and, if you’re having trouble believing it, it’s embedded in the video above.

The question comes from a caller who says he doesn’t know how to act around two male colleagues who have started the transition to female, and who wants to know if what they’re doing is a sin or not.

“I think there are men who are in a woman's body... I don't think there's any sin associated with that. I don't condemn somebody for doing that,” Robertson says.

And then, to the caller, he says: “It's not for you to decide or judge.”
